- Think Green! - Spence Marine understands the global impact of being environmentally responsible and are proud to encourage and support the Living Shorelines Stewardship Initiative (LSSI) by providing optional environmentally conscious solutions like living shore lines in which we strategically place marsh vegetation, sand, or natural stone to protect and preserve existing shorelines and adjacent assets with minimal or positive impact to naturally occuring habitats and ecosystems. This can be a cost effective and viable solution / alternative to traditional human engineered options.
We are also well educated in and adhere to Virginia's Subaqueous Lands Guidelines and Shoreline Development Best Management Practices (BMP).
- We are proud to have participated in the Hoffler Creek Wildlife Refuge restoration project coordinated by the NOAA Restoration Center by volunteering our time, equipment and services as part of our civic responsibility and duty to help protect and preserve our natural environment.
We carry all required insurances and licenses to do business in the state of Virginia and are known for our no-nonsense approach to projects, our professional ethics as well as our quality of workmanship.
